AP Jnanabhumi Scholarship Status – JVD Status
The Jagananna Vidya Deevena program, commonly referred to as JVD, has now been integrated into the AP Jnanabhumi Scholarships initiative. These scholarships are designed to support economically disadvantaged students in their educational pursuits. All families holding a white ration card in Andhra Pradesh are eligible to receive scholarships from the government.

Who Is Eligible for Jnanabhumi Student Scholarships?
Families falling below the poverty line are eligible to apply for these student scholarships. The AP government has recently extended eligibility to include all white ration cardholders in this program. However, individuals who pay income tax and children of government employees are not eligible for this scheme.
Post-Matric Scholarships: All students enrolled in AP colleges offering Polytechnic, ITI, Degree, and various professional courses in state colleges are eligible to apply. Students belonging to SC and ST families with a family income limit of up to 2.5 lakhs are eligible for this program.
Pre-Matric Scholarships: Students from SC, ST, and minority communities studying in grades 5 to 10 are eligible for this scholarship. Additionally, 9th and 10th-grade students from BC backgrounds are also eligible for these scholarships.
Documents Required for the Jnanabhumi Scholarship Application:

- Select “Post-Matric Scholarships” and download the J-SAF form.

For Pre-Matric scholarships, you must apply through your school’s principal login. Ensure that all student particulars are submitted to the school before the due date to avail of these benefits.
