DC is what you should go for it is efficient and works on places where power is not consistent. DC are easier to maintain and can be expanded any time. Note the DC need thick wires which help them live and handle current unlike the AC which will take up normal wires but burn up easily.I want to believe the old DC is gold, yes goes for shorter distances and ancient but very efficient. It also happens some manufacturing companies just place an AC covering while the inside is a DC set up. One should be very careful on get the original DC refrigerator and no extra cost will pop up due to burn outs.
It okay to note whether you want the AC power, when you connect the refrigerator or any other appliance it will still convert to DC. Why? DC power works for shorter distances, the estimation of the circuitry and the appliance is short.
Many people will still go for the Dc since you have to get an inverter for transmission. Here some power is lost and with extra cost of the converting machine refrigerator user still stick to the DC. Nonetheless people still want to migrate and use the AC making the DC power more expensive and hard to get.
DC types of refrigerator use a rough of 240 V which is more efficient and will use 450 KWH annually. Though we get to look what works financially and will be readily available AC will still win even after all the odds. It will all trickle down to the needs and the amount we are want to spend less and also want best for our appliances. All in all we should check out for the real and original AC and DC power for the refrigerators and other home appliance and also look for what will be best for us.
